Scarf osteotomy twist-off screw

Using the principle of the twist-off screw, which CHOC pioneered in 1986, CHOC has now designed a twist-off screw adapted to the scarf osteotomy.

The twist-off screw is directly screwed in, using the motor, set at a speed of 500 rpm and without prior drilling.

This technique shortens the operation time, which benefits both the patient and the surgical team.

The screw is self-drilling, self-tapping, has a conical head and compresses. It ensures perfect coaptation of the scarf osteotomy fragments.
